I am pleased to welcome you to the Chemistry Department website on behalf of the department’s academic and administrative staff. The department began to operate in the first semester of the academic year 1439/1440 AH, to meet the growing demand of the labor market.
An integrated study plan was designed to keep pace with the modern developments in the fields of chemical sciences. It allows the graduates to contribute to achieving the Kingdom’s vision and to compete in the labor market.
The department conducts a comprehensive review of the study plan in cooperation with counterpart to achieve the best international standards and national academic accreditation standards (NCAAA).
The department also seeks to meet the demand of the labor market in the local, regional and international business environment qualified graduates to develop and advance projects in the field of chemistry, an act that will contribute to achieving sustainable development in the Kingdom.
