This unit specializes in planning and organizing community service activities provided by the College in order to interact with the social institutions in various sectors of society. It also contributes effectively to meet their training needs for the development of their ability in dealing with modern social issues besides providing appropriate solutions and perceptions for these issues.
Jurisdictions of the Unit:
1- Prepare training plans on carefully studied bases to reduce the performance-gap between reality and expectations.
2- Design training programs according to the realistic training needs of individuals of both sectors: public and private.
3- Implement training programs according to a timetable and the needs of community.
4- Provide consultation and training proposals to relevant parties according to regulations.
5- Evaluate training programs.
6- Permanent and continuous development of training programs in the light of needs and views of the targeted groups.
7- Evaluate participation of the College in community service activities and submit the report to the Vice Dean for Quality and Development.

Introduction
With the scientific and technical challenges and advancement the world is witnessing, it is very necessary that all the government institutions to mobilize its manpower and financial resources to keep up with the radical development. Almajma’ah University, represented by Faculty of Sciences in Alzulfi, gave enormous attention to that as its vision reflects research and scientific pioneering in the faculty specialities, leading the development wheel and accomplishing excellency and quality at the educational, professional and academic level in the information and knowledge society. Training and society service unit is regarded one of the primary pillars that the Faculty of Sciences in Alzulfi is based upon. In fact, since the establishment of the faculty has started to instill and entrench development, improvement and continuous education through this unit. Also, the faculty gave enormous attention to providing services to the society through training and society service unit according to the university vision and message to a high-quality academic environment that prepare a competitive future for the graduates in a manner that achieves constant development through providing developed research and educational services through academic system that is able to compete in the confines of professional responsibility and partnership.
