An introduction to the Admission Department

The Admission Department is considered the entrance to the university, and it plays a significant part along with all of its units in the Deanship of Admission. The following are some of the major duties it carries out:

- The early preparation for the admission process,

- executing the university admission policy in coordinating with the university colleges in the admission stage by preparing and founding the terms of admission for each college, in accordance with the university regulations.

- To oversee the electronic admission process, the result of the final admission and entering the student information on the academic system,

- receiving the students’ files via Express Mail.

 To review and match the admitted students’ information and archiving them in their places after confirming them in the academic system and writing down the matriculation numbers on them.

- To follow-up and solve the problems of the admitted students.

- To organize the admission procedures of foreign students who were admitted through the scholarship program according to the type of scholarship given.

- To receive and execute -transfer between universities applications- and finalize the transfer procedures, in accordance with the university regulations.

- To receive, classify and execute -transfer between colleges of the university applications- and finalize the transfer procedures, in accordance with the university regulations.

- To receive, classify and execute transfer between departments within college applications and finalize the transfer procedures, in accordance with the university regulations.

- To accept candidates who were nominated by the Ministry of Education and other Public Institution to study at the university, in accordance with the university regulations.

- To accept Visitor Students who come from other universities to study at Majmaah University.

- To finalize the procedures of the university students who want to study a semester as a visitor at other universities.

- To receive and execute the applications of equivalency for the transfer and visitor students who come from other universities, in accordance with the university regulations.

- To receive and execute the drop-out applications, meeting visitors and help them with their inquiries through a reception disk, e-mail, telephones and social websites (Facebook and Twitter).

- To propose work plans to develop and simplify work processes.
