The Community Service Unit at the College of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research held a workshop entitled "Problems of the spine and Posture" at King Fahad Secondary School in Majmaah on Sunday 03/03/1440 AH.
Assistant Professor at the Department of Physical Therapy spoke about the spine, types of problems of the spine, and ways to fix issues related to it, the role of sport and proper nutrition.
The aim of the activity is to develop health awareness and educate the community about the right conditions to sit when using the phone, computer and daily activities.
The lecture was attended by a large number of students of the school and members of the College and administration.
The event saw a good interaction between the lecturer and the students.
Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Dakhil talked about the importance of the practical application of these tips and good time management before explaining the departments and programs of the College.
At the end of the event, plaques were presented to Dr. Musaed Zahrani, and to the school administration who expressed their gratitude to the college and the University and expressed their desire to repeat these events.
