The Completion of General Diploma at the College of Education in Majmaah

300 students were admitted to the General Diploma in Education after their applications were vetted to ensure their compliance with the admission requirements. The minimum grade in B.A should be ‘excellent’ or ‘very-good’, and the score of Aptitude Test should not be less than 65. Such criteria have helped in selecting qualified candidates.
Throughout the first semester, students had their higher diploma 3 days a week for 15 weeks and 3 lectures per day where each lecture takes 40 minutes.
Each course also has a set of requirements or assignments such as: researches, mid-terms, online tests, PowerPoint presentations, reading informative books, and investing resources as educational systems from the digital library.
The general diploma exams ended on Wednesday, and in the coming semester students will begin to go to field and school in the morning, while the courses will remain as they are in the evening. There will be further competitions for the best research as well as diverse activities that support achieving the main educational objective: graduating teachers that have teaching methods and techniques.
The Head of Educational Sciences, the Executive Director of the Educational Diploma Program, Dr. Aqal Al-Aqal expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Dean of Education College in Majmaah as a general supervisor of the diploma program, as well as Dean and Vice-dean of Community College. Further appreciations and deep thanks were also extended to the staff and students’ coordinator in the Department of Educational Science.
