Library Unit Conducts a Lecture on Developing Reading Skill

In the range of its activities, the Libraries Unit which is affiliated to the Vice Dean office of Academic Research and Higher Studies at the College of Education, and in the presence of His Excellency the Education College's Vice Dean of Academic Research and Higher Studies and the Head of the Library Unit, a lecture was held for the Education College's students under the title of (The Library Role In Developing the Reading Skill and Academic Objects Formation) delivered by Dr. Fateh Al-Rahman Yousef AboAqleh on Wednesday 18/2/2015 AD. The speaker stressed on the importance of reading and clarified the role of the library in developing the academic activities in his speech, which will lay the foundation to create an academic property within the student that will widen his horizons and increase his knowledge. Furthermore, His Excellency vice Dean of Academic Research and Higher Studies commenced the meeting with a speech in which he pointed out the importance of the library, the regular visits to it and the services being provided by the university library. After that, Dr. Fateh Al-Rahman delivered the lecture to the students followed by an open discussion about reading obstacles which lead to (A Whatsapp group creation) ran by one of the students and supervised by Dr. Fateh Al-Rahman, its mission is to simplify reading to the students and directing them to find books resources and introduce reading scoops.
