The Student Activity Unit held a course entitled "The Rights and Obligations of the Inventor” on Sunday 26/2/1440 by Dr. Ali Al-Sayed Abu Diab, Coordinator of the Social Committee.
The course aimed to promote the culture of innovation among university students, to know the rights and duties of the inventor.
The session addressed:
1. The concept of invention in the Saudi system
2. Terms and conditions
3. Types of inventions
4. The rights and obligations of the inventor
5. Patent registration requirements
6. Legal protection of patents in the Saudi system
