The Board Of Graduate Studies Holds Its Fifth Session

The Deanship of Graduate Studies held its fifth session for the academic year 1439/1438 at 10:30 am on Monday 21/4/1439, under the chairmanship of Dr. Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Jadoo ', Dean of Graduate Studies.

Dr. Al-Jadoo opened the session by welcoming Dr. Majid bin Suleiman Al-Amari, representative of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, for joining the Board.

The members then discussed the issues submitted by the colleges and the following recommendations were made:
First: Referring the suggested proposal of the initiative of establishing an institute of higher studies for science and technology at the University to the Center of Quality Initiatives at the University.

Second: Approval of appointment of Dr. Saleh bin Freih Al-Bahal as a coordinator of the Research Project (Referencing and Studying of the Hadiths and the Holy Quran by Tahawi) provided a progress report is submitted to the Board every semester.

Third: Approval of the criteria to be used for recruiting faculty members to teach graduate courses both on and off campus.

Fourth: Termination of status for Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al-Hamad, and Hameen bin Fahad Al-Humin from the Master's degree program of Quran and its sciences at the College of Education in Zulfi.

Fifth: Reviewing the requests submitted by the colleges to develop master's programs.
