Internal Audit for Colleges

Based on the directives of MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, and in line with the plan set by the Dean’s Office for Quality and Skills Development to conduct an internal audit for colleges and academic programs as an act for incessant improvement and help all staff to include quality practices in their daily work.
To that end, a Supreme Committee for internal auditing was formed by the Dean’s Office of Quality under the supervision of the Vice-Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih. The members of the committee are Dr. Mohammed Al-Aboudi, Dean of Quality, Dr. Abdullah Bajahzar, Mr. Tawfeeq Al-Mudeihym, Vice-Deans, and Dr. Mahmoud Tharwat and Dr. Al-Mutawali Budeir, Advisors.
A working plan was set up which include a timetable of all visits to 13 colleges in ( Zulfi, Ghat, Hawtat Sudair and Remah) that will be carried out over 7 weeks; twice a week.

Sub-committees were also formed with faculty members from different colleges to carry out internal auditing of annual quality files and documents for academic programs to examine performance indicators.
The timetables and names were submitted to Dr. Al-Rumah, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, for final approval. A full final report of visits will be submitted to MU Rector along with an individual report for every college highlighting the strength points and suggestions for improvement.
