DR. ENEZY PARTICIPATES IN MEDICAL 2ND CONVOY IN NIGERIA

Dr. Saad Al-Anzi, Assistant Professor of Medicine and Ophthalmology at the College of Medicine at Majmaah University participated in the second voluntary medical convoy of ophthalmology, which was carried out by the International Symposium on Islamic Youth in Katsina State, Nigeria.

The second voluntary medical convoy for eye surgery in Nigeria was launched from 8 to 21 June 2019. The convoy included 6 distinguished Saudi doctors specialized in eye diseases, particularly cataract widespread in this region.

The convoy concluded its activities a few days ago with 581 successful cataract operations.

Well covered by the Nigerian media, the convoy was praised for its humanitarian work and the medical team.

Dr. Saad Al Enezi is one of the distinguished doctors at the University involved in this pioneering volunteer work. He also has many other distinguished volunteer contributions within the Kingdom including cataract surgeries at King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital in Hail during the International Volunteer Day, which was awarded the Excellence Award in the Ministry of Health's Health Volunteer and the Ibsar Fasting Initiative, which was implemented during the holy month of Ramadan in Qassim.
