MU FIRST SEMESTER’S TRANSPORTATION WORKS COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY

The General Department of Services at Majmaah University has completed successfully carrying out the transportation works for the first semester 1439/1440.
Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, MU Vice-Rector, said that the transportation services were offered professionally via the Department of Transportation. More than 8,000 female students commute to their classes from governorates and suburbs to various colleges using the university buses. Internship and field training students at public schools and health sectors do also avail of the transportation services. Special buses are allocated for students with special needs.
Prof. Al-Dosari congratulated MU Rector, Dr. Al-Mugren this achievement and appreciated his great concern and follow-up to ensure that high standards of safety are applied in transportation services.
Several departments collaborate with the Department of Transportation to maintain high level of safety for students. These departments are the Department of Digital, Department of Safety ‘A’amen’, Road Safety Club ‘Salik’, Crisis Management and the Platform of Risk Management.
The university has celebrated recently the success of driving more than 100 million kilometers safely.
