MU RECTOR FOLLOWS UP THE PROGRESS WORK OF MOVING COLLEGES OF MEDICINE AND APPLIED MEDICAL SCIENCES INTO A NEW BUILDING

Within the framework of inspecting the various university projects by the Vice-Rector’s Office on regular basis, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, MU Rector, paid an inspection visit to the new buildings of both, the College of Medicine and College of Applied Medical Sciences, which are expected to transfer to soon.
Upon his arrival to the project site, Prof. Al-Dosari was welcomed by the supervisor of both the General Department of Projects and Technical Affairs and General Department of Operation and Maintenance, Mr. Othman bin Hamad Al-Issa, who briefed the Vice-Rector about the various stages undertaken to move into a new building, including the transfer of educational facilities and labs as well as setting up the offices of faculty members and staff. The contribution of IT Deanship and e-Learning Deanship into the transfer operation was also highlighted such as setting up and installing networks and e-learning facilities.
Prof. Al-Dosari who commended the work completed to this stage, considered this project to be a great leap in upgrading the quality of education in critical disciplines.
