UNDER MU RECTOR PATRONAGE: 3RD BATCH OF MEDICAL STUDENTS GIVE THE OATH

Under the patronage of MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, the College of Medicine held a physician’s oath ceremony for the third batch of graduates in the presence of vice-rectors, deans, directors, staff and graduates’ parents.
The ceremony was inaugurated by a recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a speech delivered by the Dean of the College of Medicine and Supervisor of Medical Services, Dr. Khalid Al-Abdelwahab who expressed his happiness on this occasion with the graduation of over 100 physicians.
Dr. Al-Abdelwahab added “By the end of this academic semester, the College will be completing 8 years of successive success”. In appreciation of the faculty members’ efforts to have a generation of outstanding physicians, Dr. Al-Abdelwahab extended his thanks to them and encouraged graduates to pursue their dream after graduation. The speech was concluded by congratulating MU Rector the earning of the Institutional academic accreditation.
A film entitled “a novice physician” was shown which narrates the successful journey of a graduate from the time of joining the college and all the way till the graduation.

The student graduation speech was delivered by Mohammed Al-Hassan, who extended their thanks to the university, including faculty members for their exceptional efforts to help them. Parents were also thanked for their support and graduated students were encouraged to bear responsibility and to serve this nation at best.
Another film was shown this time was highlighting the history of the College of Medicine, department and programs and major achievements. This was followed a graduation parade during which graduates gave the physician’s oath.
Addressing the audience, MU Rector, Dr. Al-Mugren extended his thanks to the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the unlimited support the university receives as an obvious manifestation of their great concern of education. Thanks were also extended the university staff for the successive achievements in evidence.
The Rector congratulated the graduates this special occasion and attributed that to the College of Medicine which is one of the remarkable colleges under the leadership of the Dean Dr. Al-Abdelwahhab.
