DEANSHIP OF LIBRARY AFFAIRS’ READING CONTEST FOR MU STAFF AND LOCAL COMMUNITY LAUNCHED

As part of its role to promote the culture of reading, importance of the university’s library and appreciation of books among the university staff and students as well as the local community located within the university’s geographical area, the Deanship of Library Affairs launched the second reading competition after its success last year 1440.
The aim of the competition is to introduce the university staff and students and local community members to the importance of reading and visiting the university library and to inculcate in them the live-long love of reading. The contest’s awards are all sponsored by the Deanship of Community Service and Continues education.
The contest has two categories based on the number of books: golden category and silver category.
In the golden category, a participant is expected to read from six to ten books; in the silver one, two to five books.
The participant can select to join one of these categories by visiting the contest registration link and filling out the book review form then send it to the deanship email. All participants will be evaluated by a panel of jury.
