LAUNCH OF FIRST TRAINING PROGRAM AT COMPUTER SCIENCE COLLEGE

In view of the digital development initiative approved by Saudi Vision 2030 Office, a national training program was conducted by the College of Computer Science and Information.

The training program aims to qualify students to obtain professional certificates in information security and networks. By the end of the program, students are prepared to achieve international licenses in three courses; Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH, Certified Network Defender  ( CND)  and Certified Hacking Forensics Investigator  (CHFI). 
The program, which included 60 students from 25 universities, focuses on engaging students in intensive training using several software and tools. Aside from training, accommodation was offered in addition to recreational programs at King Salman Sports City in Majmaah. 
Dr. Hisham Al-Saqeer, Dean of Computer Science College, said that this program, fully supported by MU Rector Dr. Al-Mugren, is a new effective method in education seems to be found in developed countries. The certification exams were carefully selected in a partnership with EC-Council- one of the world’s best organizations in information security, added Dr. Al-Saqeer
