20250804812The Vice-Rector's Office of the College of Science for Educational Affairs and Development, organized, in cooperation with the Digital Transformation Unit, a workshop titled “Introduction to the Skills Record” for students of the College of Science.
The workshop, presented by Ms. Rehab Al-Mutairi, Head of the Digital Transformation Unit, aimed to train students on how to use the Skills Record system to document their skills, training courses, and non-academic personal and professional competencies developed during their university studies.
The workshop addressed several key topics, including an introduction to the Skills Record system and its importance, and how to use it effectively to record and access data. It also highlighted the role of the system in developing students' performance, documenting their activities, promoting self-development throughout university life, and encouraging positive community engagement through university-based activities.
The workshop also featured a hands-on session on how to access and use the Skills Record platform.
At the end of the workshop, the importance of developing personal and professional skills was emphasized, along with equipping students with the necessary skills to showcase their talents and improve their future career opportunities.
