MU WELCOMES NEW STUDENTS WITH THE ANNUAL ORIENTATION MEETING

The Deanship of Student Affairs at MU held its annual orientation for new students for the academic year 1447 AH, alongside the guidance fair, at the main campus in Majmaah.

The event was held under the patronage of MU Rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, and attended by Prof. Mohammed Al-Aboudi, Vice Rector for Educational Affairs, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shehri, Vice Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, as well as deans of colleges and supporting deanships.

The program began with a short film produced by the Media Center. This was followed by a keynote speech from the Vice Rector for Educational Affairs, who shared heartfelt advice with the students, stressing the importance of values, good companionship, academic excellence, and awareness of their rights and responsibilities.

Dr. Bader Al-Sulami, Dean of Student Affairs, then delivered a speech in which he outlined the Deanship’s vision, goals, and plans for the academic year. A presentation introducing the Deanship’s services was also shown.

Finally, Prof. Nasser Al-Othman, Dean of Admission and Registration, spoke about the Student Rights and Responsibilities Charter, academic regulations, and study plans, supported by a multimedia presentation.
