Majmaah University was honored with a number of certificates of recognition at the World Summit on the Information Society 2019 held in Geneva.

In the presence of Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, Vice-Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, MU Rector, welcomed in his office the Dean and Vice-Dean of Information Technology, Dr. Mohammed Al-Wanien and Dr.

In collaboration with the E-Government Program “Yasser”, the IT Dean’s Office at Majmaah University participated in the event of Comex Show 2019, held from March 17 to 19, 2019 in Muscat, Oman.

MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren welcomed his office the data center relocation team which has managed to migrate the data center successfully to the new building at the main campus.

Within the framework of following-up the progress of work on regular basis, the Vice-Rector Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, paid a visit to the Office of the Dean of Information Technology to inspect the relocated data center to new building at main campus.

In a ceremony held by the Vice-Rector’s Office for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research to award outstanding scholarship-students, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, Majmaah University Rector, awarded Dr. Mohammed Al-Wanien, Dean of Information Technology Vice-Dean’s Office and Dr.

The Dean of Information Technology, Dr. Mohammed Al-Waneen received a delegation from the University of Knowledge in the presence of Vice-Dean of Technical Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Zamil.
The delegation was headed by Mr. Abelkareem Al-Zamil and Mr. Mohammed Al-Zamil.

Prof. Hatim Al-Marzuqi, Rector of Islamic University paid a visit to the Office of the Dean of Information Technology escorted by MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren and vice-rectors where they were welcomed by Dr. Mohammed Al-Wanien, Dean of IT Vice-Rector’s Office.

On Monday 13/2/1440 AH, Prof. Musallam bin Mohammed Al Dosari, the MU Vice-Rector chaired a meeting in the presence of Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Alwanien and Mr. Abdelrahman Al Turaiki with a team from e-Government Program 'Yasser'.

The Deanship of Information Technology organized on Monday a celebration of Eid in the presence of the Dean, Dr. Mohammed Al-Wanien. Congratulations were exchanged between the faculty members on this occasion.

The Dean of Information Technology, Dr. Muhammad Al-Wenein, received a letter of appreciation from the Rector in recognition of the Deanship’s excellent annual report for 1438/1439 academic year at the University.

MU rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, launched a new application named ‘Khadamati’ in the presence of Vice-Rector, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari and Dean of IT, Dr. Mohammed Al-Wanin. The application provides a bundle of wide-range of services for the university staff.

MU Rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Muqrin, received in his office a team of staff from the Deanship of Information Technology, which has recently completed the launch of both the Intranet Portal of university staff and My services application.

MU rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren has patronized the ceremony held by the Deanship of Information Technology (DIT) to launch a number of up-to-date tech projects in the presence of vie-rectors, deans, directors and faculty staff.

The Deanship of Information Technology won the Silver Medal in the category of 'Supporting Deanships' at the ceremony of the University Rector’s Award for Quality and Excellence at the University.

The Award is organized by the Deanship of Quality and Skills Development.
