The Higher Central Committee for Quality and Academic Accreditation:

This committee is the top of the university’s quality system hierarchy and consists of MU Rector, Dr. Khaled  Al-Muqrin, the Vice Rector, Dr.. Musallam Al-Dosari, the Vice Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Rumaih, Vice Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Muhammad Al-Shaya, Dean of Quality, Dr. Khalid  Al-Jarallah, and a group of faculty members.

Res and Powers:

1- Managing the general policies in terms of quality and academic accreditation at the university

2- Approving plans, policies and projects related to quality and academic accreditation

3- Examining the reports submitted to it.

Responsibilities and powers:

Review other universities' experiences .

- Setting the general policies and operational plans of the project and recommending them for approval by the Supreme Central Committee.

Add necessary initiatives and activities in line with the project's objectives.

Nominate experts from inside and outside the Kingdom for the purpose of completing the project.

Providing necessary support to the project’s executive committees and teams.

- Follow up the work progress of the executive committees and review their follow-up reports.

- Submitting periodic reports of project activities to the Higher Central Committee for Quality and Academic Accreditation.

Project follow-up team

A team was formed of a number of leading experts in the field of quality and academic accreditation (three to five people) who have experience in academic development projects.
