On behalf of the Minister of Higher Education and the presence of the Secretary General of the Council of Higher Education, the University Rector chaired the fourth meeting of the University Council for the current academic year

On behalf of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al Angari, the Chairman of the University Council, the Rector Dr. Khaled bin Saad al-Muqrin headed the fourth meeting of the University Council for the academic year 1432/1433H at the Meeting Room of the Rector Office in the presence of the Secretary General of the Council of Higher Education Dr. Mohamed Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saleh (through visual communication) and the university Vice Rectors, Colleges & Supporting Deanships Deans.

 

The university Vice Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and the Secretary of the Council Dr. Mohsen Bin Abdul Rahman Al Mohsen that University Rector opened the meeting by welcoming everyone and gave them congratulated them for what was allocated to the university of this year budget the increase rate which will contribute to the upgrading work at the university and help to achieve goals and objectives set for it. He added that this appreciation from the wise leadership for the university deserves to double the efforts and work with more giving to achieve greater successes and achievements. Dr. Al Mohsen added that the Council reviewed the topics on the agenda and issued a number of resolutions and recommendations regarding them. Among the discussed topics was approving the Master degree program for interpretation   of the Quran and its Sciences in the Faculty of Education at Zulfi in addition to the approval of training courses in health field for the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education.

 
The Council also approved the of international communication program for one of the university teaching staff members in addition to discussing a number of financial, administrative, academic issues and appropriate decisions were taken.
