Under the direct follow-up of the Vice Rector of the University, Dr. Mosallam Al-Dosari, the Administration of Safety and Occupational Health, represented by the Safety Department, carried out an evacuation drill at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology in the Female Section, in cooperation with the College Emergency Committee, the Administration of Operation and Maintenance, the Medical Services and the Fire Department.
The evacuation drill started following an alarm bell, as students hurriedly exited the building and gathered at the allocated assembly points outside in a minute and 40 seconds.
The supervisor of Safety and Occupational Health, Mr. Sami Al-Mutairi stated that performing such drills had a great role in their success as it is the case with previous fire drills in other colleges.
The Administration seeks to complete the evacuation drills in all the facilities and colleges of the university to raise awareness of safety on campus.
