MU CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

Under the patronage of MU rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, the Social Responsibility Observatory, celebrated the International Women's Day in cooperation with the Women’s Committee in the Riyadh and the Saudi Cifal Centre by holding a forum under the theme “Investing in Women to Accelerate the Pace of Progress.”

The International Women's Day forum opened by the rector's advisor at female campus, Dr. Jawaher Al Omar, in the presence of a number of leading female figures. This was followed launching the associated exhibition and the university's initiative for women.

A seminar was also held under the theme (Integrating Women into the Workforce), which was presented by Dr. Lujain Al-Hugail, Associate Professor at law, King Saud University.

Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, the vice-rector for development and investment, pointed out that this event is held in collaboration with the university's partner in line with the directives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals 2030.
