JAZAN UNIVERSITY DELEGATION IN A VISIT TO MAJMAAH UNIVERSITY

MU Rector, Dr. Khalid AL-Muqrin received in his office a delegation from the University of Jazan, consisting of Jazan University Vice-Rector for Academic Quality and Development, Dr. Mohammed Al-Safhi and Dean of Academic Development at Jazan University, Dr. Nayef Jahshour Azibi.
The Rector welcomed the guests and commended the visit, stressing the importance of cooperation in terms of quality and academic development.
Shortly after the Rector’s reception, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ahmad Aromaih, with Dr. Muhammad Al-Aboudi- Vice-Rector for Quality, accompanied the visitors on a tour of the main campus to review Majmaah University experience in earning the institutional accreditation from the National Center for Assessment.
The delegation viewed guidelines related to each standard of accreditation as well as the performance indicators, then they checked the Quality rooms at the Colleges of Medicine, Applied Medical Sciences and Business Administration.
The delegation also reviewed the procedures of keeping quality files of each department and distributing those files properly, making it easier for audits to review reports, documents and evidence.
During the tour, the delegation visited the rooms and the offices assigned for inspectors and audits during the visits of the accreditation team. Later, a meeting was held to discuss cooperation regarding quality and academic development with respect to the experience of Majmaah University in earning the institutional accreditation.
