The Scholarship and Training Department holds a Workshop on Modern Scholarship Trends at Majmaah University
Under the patronage of the Vice Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shehri, the Scholarship and Training Department organized a workshop titled “Modern Scholarship Trends at Majmaah University.” The event reflects the University’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the scholarship and training environment and supporting employees preparing for international study.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness of the updated executive regulations governing scholarship and training at Majmaah University, strengthen research culture and institutional belonging among scholarship candidates, and promote intellectual awareness. It also provided participants with the opportunity to learn from real-life experiences shared by scholars studying abroad.
Key topics included the updated scholarship regulations, the role of research and institutional engagement, and the intellectual readiness of scholars. The workshop also featured two experience-sharing sessions from scholarship candidates in the United States and the United Kingdom, highlighting key challenges, opportunities, and lessons learned throughout their academic journeys.
This workshop is part of a broader series of initiatives led by the Scholarship and Training Department to prepare University employees academically and professionally and to contribute to advancing the University’s academic and research outcomes.
