Introduction to the Journal
A peer-reviewed scientific journal focused on publishing in the fields of Islamic sciences and legal studies, with three issues published annually. It is issued by the Center for Publishing and Translation at Majmaah University
Vision:
Excellence and leadership in knowledge, Sharia and legal sciences, and in consolidating their values.
Mission:
Enrich the scientific knowledge with solid scientific research, and helping researchers in presenting their scientific results, allowing them to be a reference in the sciences of Sharia, law, and up-to-date changes.
Goals:
- Inculcate the pure Islamic faith, demonstrate the approach of Moderation, and refute the ideas of extremism, fanaticism, division.
- Create a scientific reference in the sciences of Sharia and law and their developments.
- Publish solid scientific research specialized in Sharia and legal sciences, and promote academic scientific research.

Publishing Guidelines
The journal aims to allow researchers to publish their papers in the fields of Sharia and legal sciences, including:
1. Sharia sciences: jurisprudence and its principles, the Qur’an and its sciences, Hadith and its sciences, Aqidah and Dawah, and Islamic culture.
2. Legal sciences including: public law, private law, as well as comparative law.
3. Research papers can be in both Arabic and English.
For papers to be published, they must be original, novel, and innovative, and adheres to the ethics of scientific research and scientific methodology. The research must not be taken from a thesis or book, and has not been previously published in Arabic or English.
- The researcher is committed to submitting the paper in compliance with the Sharia controls and the regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
2- Adhere to the approved scientific research rules for writing and indexing.
3- The number of words in the research should not exceed (12,000) words, including the list of references, tables, figures, and images.
4. The research abstract should be written in Arabic and should not exceed (250) words, followed by the keywords (should not exceed five words). It also should be written in English taking into account accuracy of translation. The editorial board has the right to reject any abstract with incorrect translation.
5- The researcher must ensure, before submitting to the journal, that the language of the research is correct and free of typographical and linguistic errors. Any research that does not meet the general and technical criteria may be rejected.
Authors must ensure that their requests meet all of the following sections:

- A cover page that includes the title of the research and the researcher’s details.
- A copy of the research in WORD format and another in PDF format without including the researcher’s details.
- The researcher's details includes information about all authors (name, surname, institutional affiliation (university, department, country), email, ORCID code, which can be obtained via the following link: https://orcid.org/register .
- A brief CV of the researcher or researchers.
1. Research is sent via the journal's email jsls@mu,edu.sa The researcher's submission of his research to the journal's portal with attachments is considered acceptance of the terms of publication in the journal.
2. The editorial board has the right to initially vet the research and decide whether it is eligible or not.
3. The submitted research is sent to specialized referees chosen by the editorial with confidentiality. The journal may request amendments to the research according to the opinion of the referees before endorsing the research for publication.
4. The researcher will receive a letter stating whether his paper was accepted or rejected.
5. In the case of (accepting the research for publication), the publishing rights are transferred to the journal, and it may not be published in any other publication outlet, whether in print or electronically, without written permission from the head of the board Editing.
6. The researcher has no right to request the withdrawal of the research during the evaluation period.
7. The editorial board has the right to determine the priorities for publishing research.
8. The opinions expressed in the published research reflect the point of view of the researchers only, and do not necessarily express the opinion of the journal.
