HIS HIGHNESS THE RECTOR ISSUES A NUMBER OF DECREES RELATED TO THE MECHANISMS OF DEALING WITH WEATHER FORECAST

A decree was issued by His Highness the Rector to endorse the new mechanism of dealing with weather forecast and classes suspensions via the establishment of an emergency room in the general administration for administrative and financial affairs. The room will be fully equipped to monitor the early alarm made by the General Presidency of Meteorology and Environment Protection and to receive the weather reports from the civil defense in the regions which are supervised by the University. Based on that, a warning will be sent to the general director of administrative and finance affairs who will make a report to His Excellency the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs to inform His Highness the Rector. In case the university has decided to suspend the classes, the administration of Public Relation and Media will be notified to inform the concerned sectors via the proper communication. Such procedures are taken by the University to ensure the safety of students.
