MU RECTOR MEETS FRESHMEN FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 1439/1440 AH

Patronized by the Rector of MU, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) organized a meeting for freshmen with MU rector in main campus. The meeting started off with a welcoming speech for the student Mr. Abdullah Al-Obaid followed by a beautiful recitation of the holy Koran.
Welcoming new students and all audience, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaisan gave a speech highlighting that students are always being the center of the deanship’s attention. By holding activities and programs as well as providing a wide-range of services to students, the DSA is on the right track of fulfilling its objectives.
Addressing the audience, the rector of MU also delivered a speech that began by commending the exceptional support received from the government in general, and the education sector in particular.
Advising the university students in their academic life, the rector said all students have rights and responsibilities, and they are expected to demonstrate high level of dedication to their academic study. The communication between students and the university officials shall always remain effective.
At the end of the meeting, a Q&A session was held with the Rector who answered clearly and transparently all questions asked by students.
Prior to this meeting, the Rector paid a visit to the orientation exhibition held by the DSA. The exhibition’s aim is to highlight the activities held for students such as the media club, theater club, voluntary club, scouting club, reading club and student fund.
