VICE-RECTOR FOR GRADUATE STUDIES AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH MEETS ADMITTED STUDENTS IN MA PROGRAM

In attempt to create all means of communication between the university and postgraduate students in order to overcome any obstacle that might impede their progress, a meeting was held by the Deanship of Graduate Studies (DGS) and Deanship of Community Service (DCS) with students admitted in the MA program for the academic year 1439/1440.
Patronized and attended by the vice-rector of graduate studies and scientific research, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shaye, the meeting began by a presentation for the dean of Graduate Studies Deanship, Dr. Fahad Al-Jaduo’a, in which he highlighted the prominent role played by the DGS in planning and executing these programs as well as the regulation of MA program.
Dr. Omar Al-Sharyouf, Dean of Community Service, explained the role of the DCS in facilitating the financial matters for students.
In a speech addressing students, Prof. Al-Shaye congratulated all admitted students and encouraged them demonstrate high level of dedication during their academic study.
For these programs to excel, cooperation is required from all concerned departments to run these program efficiently in collaboration and full support from the Vice-Rector’s Office for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research. Students can apply for grant to publish their papers in international journals. Prof. Al-Shaye concluded his word by the unconditional support that these programs receive from the Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, to meet the expectations of the university in the field of graduate studies.
A Q&A session was moderated by the vice-dean of community service, Dr. Abdelkareem Al-Harbi, to answer the questions asked by students.
