SECOND PHASE OF INTERACTIVE CLASSROOMS PROJECT IS COMPLETED

The Deanship of e-Learning has completed the project of interactive classrooms in the college of medicine, college of applied medical sciences, college of education in Majmaah, college of business administration, college of science in Zulfi and college of education in Zulfi.
Interactive-classrooms project is a state-of-the-art educational technology to create lessons that allow learners to interact with their instructors in an easy way. The systems used for the interactive classrooms can also be installed at a server to record and archive lectures.
Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, Vice-Rector and Supervisor of e-Learning Deanship, said that the aim of interactive classrooms project is to create a state-of-the-art educational environment conducive for learning and improving quality of education. The first phase of the project was completed during the second semester of last academic year. One of the most notable results for the success of this project is the increasing efficiency of distributing lectures both in male and female campus as well as optimizing the expertise of teaching staff in colleges where specialized teaching staff are highly needed. Several features are associated with this technology such as smart boards and high quality sound system. Prof. Al-Dosari noted that the deanship intends to offer high-quality educational services using e-learning.
