A meeting was held on Wednesday 4/12/1434H by the General Committee of Quality and Academic Development which came after the decree of His Highness the Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Mogren to form a committee chaired by Prof. Mohammad Al-Rukban, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and the vice-chairman of the committee and its secretary the Dean of Quality and Skills Development Dr. Khalid Al-Jarallah as well as the deans of colleges.
Prof. Al-Rukban initiated the meeting by welcoming all members and stressed the importance of quality in the academic institutions as well as qualifying the university to obtain the national and international accreditation. After that, a proposed organizational structure was reviewed for the quality system at the university level as well as the proposal presented by the Quality Deanship with regard to the internal quality system of the colleges. a reviewed was also made germane to the academic programs and their readiness for international accreditation.
