‘SPINAL CORD PROBLEMS AND CORRECT SITTING POSITION’ AWARENESS LECTURE HELD BY COLLEGE OF APPLIED MEDICAL SCIENCE

Within in the framework of the College of Applied Medical Science’s social responsibility to educate the community members,
the Community Service Unit at the Vice-Rector’s Office for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research conducted a lecture at King Fahad High School titled Spinal cord problems and correct sitting position" in the presence of the Dean,
Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Dukhail.
The lecture which took place on Sunday,was presented by Dr. Musaed Al-Zahrani,
Assistant Professor at Physio Therapy Department, who focused on a number of
topics: definition and types of spinal cord, problems of spinal cord, their causes and how to protect it as well as the role of sports and healthy food system for health back.
The aim of the lecture is to raise the students’ health awareness with regard to correct sitting position while using phone and computer. A huge number of students and teachers attended the lecture.
