A workshop titled “ACADEMIC LEADERSHIP: INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE” was organized by THE UNIVERSITY DEPUTYSHIP FOR ACADEMIC AFFAIRS and the cooperation of Computer Science and Information. The workshop was attended by the University Deputy for Academic Affairs and a number of colleges and deanships’ deans.
The workshop was presented by Professor Paul Bailes, Vice-Director of Academic Board at Queensland University in Australia. Professor Bailes has discussed issues pertinent to developing the University rank domestically and internationally such as selecting faculty members as well as providing a conducive environment to students to be more innovative and creative in the field of research.
