A ‘UNIVERSITY WITHOUT ACCIDENT’ INITIATIVE CEREMONY PATRONIZED BY MU RECTOR

Patronized by Majmaah University Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, a ceremony of ‘university without accident’ initiative and associated exhibition was organized by MU in the presence of vice-rectors, deans, and directors of traffic departments in Riyadh, Majmaah, Zulfi and Ghat.
Upon their arrival, they all headed to the associated exhibition which was launched by MU Rector along with Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, Vice-Rector and Major General Abdlrahman Al-Kharsan, Director of Traffic Department, Riyadh. Visiting all the booths, the guests listened to presentations about road safety.
The ceremony began by a recitation of Holy Quran followed by a presentation highlighting the achievement of the initiative ‘A university without accident’ over a year. A short film was also shown about safety and the importance of following traffic rules. Afterwards, two initiatives were launched by MU Rector.
Addressing the audience, MU rector delivered a speech that began by highlighting the importance of this initiative for serving the community. The initiative also contributes to achieving one of the university primary goals; education, scientific research and community service.
Dr. Al-Mugren extended his thanks to the exceptional support that MU receives from the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Thanks were also expressed to everyone who has participated to make this initiative successful, on top of which is Prof. Al-Dosari. The various traffic departments were also thanked for their cooperation in the field of road safety.
