With the follow-up of His Excellency the Vice-Rector for Education Affairs Prof. Mohammad Al-Rukban and the supervision of the Dean of Science College in Zulfi Dr. Mohammad Al-Obodi, a visit was organized for outstanding students by the College to King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology in Riyadh. The students were accompanied by Dr. Thamer Al-Harbi, Deputy Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Mr. Ahmed Al-Wazzan and Mr. Abdelaziz Al-Gashmai.
The students were welcomed by a representative of Public Relations then the tour began by visit the Center of Petrochemical Research where the students were briefed by the supervisor about innovation center.
The tour also included visits to a number of divisions such as the clean fuel, national center for physics & math, space research and 3-d lab and in every division an exhaustive explanation was provided to students about the nature of work.
Eventually, students were handed a cop of a file which includes a number of the center work. Dr. Al-Harbi handed the representative of public relations at King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology a memorial shield for his cooperation.
