THE SPECIAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT VISITS THE MEDICAL CITY OF KING FAHAD

A delegation of students from the Special Education Dept. at Education College paid a visit to King Fahad Medical City. the delegation was accompanied by deputy of the department Mr. Abdel Aziz Al-Saeed. The delegation was welcomed by the Director of the Media and Public Relations Mr. Saud Al-Gharbi.    

The visit included a tour to the rehabilitation hospital as well as the department of rehabilitation technology, prosthetics Unit, Prosthetic devices Unit and Assistive Unit. These devices are likely to assist patients for mobility, hearing, pronouncing and communications with disabled. Exhaustive explanation was given to students about each unit and their functions. The students inquiries were also answered by experts which took around 2 hours.

Mr. Al-Saeed extended his thanks to the Media and Public Relations Dept. at the hospital for their cooperation as they contributed in informing what students take in their classes with practices in reality.
