SPECIAL EDUCATION DEPT. AT COLLEGE OF EDUCATION ORGANIZES A NUMBER OF ACTIVITIES ON THE WORLD DAY OF DISABILITY

On the occasion of the World Day of Disability, the College of Education represented by the Special Education Dep. has organized a number of activities titled “ Eliminating Barriers to Create Harmony”. The activities included a speech titled “ Talented with Disability” presented by Dr. Khalid Arab. The department also organized a scientific symposium which includes a number of activities and events which were managed by Mr. Abdel Aziz Al-Saeed. The major topics of the symposium is the means and ways of meeting the need of disable people and the duties stipulated by Sharia towards disabled people and the high potential of disabled people. One of the disabled students gave a speech where he highlighted the majors obstacles encountered by disabled students.  The dean of the college also gave a speech where he emphasized the importance of such events and extended his thanks to the department of special education for their initiatives.
