ISO 27001 CERTIFICATION IN INFORMATION SECURITY OF MU RENEWED

On the occasion of renewing the ISO 27001 Certification in information security for 3 years, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, MU Rector, welcomed in his office the Dean of Information Technology Dean’s Office, Dr. Mohammad Al-Wanien, in the presence of Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, Vice-Rector.
The renewal of the certification is an indication of the university ability to maintain the highest standards of security and quality which were manifested in the best security practices in all technical transactions. With this certification, the security of confidential information will improve significantly, an important standard through which the university’s reputation is measured.
Dr. Al-Wanien extended his thanks to the Rector and Vice-Rector for their directives and follow-up, resulting in renewal of this certification in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2020 of national transformation program.
At the end of the visit, MU Rector congratulated the IT staff this achievement whose efforts are source of pride and their role is vital.
