MU THIRD STRATEGIC PLAN COMMITTEE 2020-2025 RESUMES ITS WORKS

The university Third strategic Plan Committee conducted several meetings at the General Department of Strategic Planning after the summer break. Several topics were discussed and the suitable recommendations were made.
The major topics discussed were reviewing the committee’s reports for the first phase of the project including the mechanism of work to prepare the strategic plan, the initial matrix of the plan’s objectives and initiatives, the report of major national and international orientations related to MU, the report of MU environmental analysis results, the university’s demographic and institutional context and the report of the first draft evaluating the university’s vision and mission.
Several recommendations were made, on top of which are the approval to assign some members to be in charge of important reports including: the Internal and External Benchmarking Report and the Alignment Report with Performance Indicators Required by the Ministry.
A working team was formed with the task of proposing a tentative draft on how to present the matrix of goals and initiatives to the university departments.
During the meetings, a number of goals and initiatives were reviewed and compared with the draft of matrix of goals and initiatives. Moreover, the report sent by the NCAAA for suggested improvements was also discussed. The working plan for the final stage of preparing the third strategic plan 2020-2025 was also approved.
The head of the committee extended his thanks to MU Rector for the unlimited support the committee is receiving from him and the vice-rectors.
