MU PARTICIPATES IN REGULAR MEETING OF LIBRARY AFFAIRS DEANS

At the request of MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren, the Dean of Library Affairs Deanship, Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwaier, has participated in the regular meeting of deans of library affairs and associated workshops of information resources at Saudi universities. The meeting was hosted by King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah jointly with the Saudi Digital Library.
The Dean Dr. Al-Shuwaier said that several topics were addressed in the meeting pertinent to information and library field such as the method of subscribing in databases and the efforts exerted to turn curriculum books into electronics.
Dr. Al-Shuwaier highlighted the major role played by SDL as the largest library in Arab world with digital information resource.
