DEANSHIP OF COMMUNITY SERVICE PATRONIZES INITIATIVE ON IMPORTANCE OF READING

As part of the cooperation with departments and institutions of education in the community, manifested by sponsoring and implementing community initiatives that serve the community members, the Deanship of Community Service and Continues Education sponsored an activity held by the Department of Education in Majmaah on the importance of reading.
The Vice-Dean for Community Programs, Dr. Adel Al-Turki, commended the role played by the Department of Education in Majmaah - led by Dr. Saleh Al-Rabia – in promoting the culture of reading among the different segments of the community.
Dr. Omar Al-Sharyofi, Dean of the Community Service, said that sponsoring this initiative came at the request of MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren and the Vice-Rector, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, to fulfill the third role of the university and that is serving the community.
