A coordination meeting chaired by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Muhammad Bin Fahd Al Salamah, has been held with the presence of the Coordinator of Inventor Unit at the college, Dr. Tarek Al Bajouri, as well as the inventor students at the College. The inventor students are:
-Muhammad bin Mazyed bin Mohammad Al Humaidani Al-Mutairi, Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.
-Abdulaziz bin Mohammad bin Rashed Al Tamami, Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.
-Amer Mershed Fayadh Al Enzi, Department of Environmental and Civil Engineering.
Furthermore, their latest inventions have witnessed a great admiration of governmental institutions in the Kingdom, hence these institutions have expressed their desire to cooperate with the University and the students as well to make use of these innovations. The student Amer Al Enzi has talked about his invention, which is a Movable Security Barrier that serves Security Forces by saving time and efforts, as well as speed to disclose the data associated with cars. Then, the student Muhammad Al-Mutairi has talked about the latest invention which is considered the second one on the level of the Middle East and the third one on the level of the worldwide , this invention is about a pharmacist robot that brings medications and to make sure of the validity of these medications in a record time compared to the current situation. After that, the student Abdulaziz Al Tamami has presented the idea of his invention which is a self-distinguishing system for cars solar-powered and working on putting out the fire from inside the vehicle in the event of fires, God forbid. Hence, this invention is considered as one of the useful inventions which can reduce injuries. Finally, the meeting has discussed a mechanism to benefit of the monetary grant provided by His Excellency the Rector of the University to support inventors.
