MU PARTICIPATES IN 5TH INTERNATIONAL TRAFFIC AND SAFETY FORUM AND EXHIBITION

MU’s Traffic and Safety Center participated in the 5th international traffic and safety forum and exhibition, held in Eastern Region under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of the Easter Region.
The forum and exhibition, organized by Saudi Society for Traffic Safety, was hosted by Imam Abdelrahman bin Faisal University under theme “Traffic Safety innovations and initiatives for a safer and sustainable communities”.
The aim of the event is to tackle some of the most pressing road safety challenges in the Kingdom and integrate latest innovations and advanced technologies into their concepts and projects.
Mr. Abdel Aziz Al-Otaibi, Director of Traffic Safety Center ‘Salik’, said that this exhibition is intended to achieve one of the National Transformation Program’s traffic safety goals. He extended his thanks to MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren and the Vice-Rector, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari for their support to allow the center to engage with other sectors in order to achieve better traffic safety results.
