DEANS AND VICE-DEANS OF COLLEGE OF EDUCATION REPRESENT MU IN WORKSHOP ON ‘PRE-SERVICE TEACHER TRAINING’

In the presence of the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al-Shaikh and deans and vice-deans of education college in Saudi Arabia, MU’s Deans of education colleges in Majmaah and in Zulfi, Dr. Majed Aba-Hussein and Dr. Nasser Al-Othman, respectively, along with vices joined the consulting workshop entitled “Pre-Service Teacher Training”, hosted by the Minister of Education.
An open meeting was held with the minister to address two essential topics: The relative distribution of teacher training programs’ fields and the relative distribution of educational programs and practical education courses.
Ministry’s future plans of teacher training programs were also reviewed including: the need for preschool and primary school of low-grades teachers, international test for qualifying teachers, tracks of high school education projects, primary school of high-grades teachers, teacher internship, the ability to handle current and future curriculum as well as to analyze and evaluate the content of materials.
