VICE-RECTOR FOR GRADUATE STUDIES CONDUCTS A MEETING WITH COLLEGE DEANS

Prof. Mohammed Al-Shay’a, Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, held a meeting with the college deans in the presence of deanship’s deans associated with the Vice-Rector’s Office to discuss a wide-range issues pertinent to the Vice-Rector’s Office.
Launched by a welcoming speech, Prof. Al-Shaya’a reviewed the scientific research performance indicators of colleges according to refereed journals, reminding deans to motivate faculty members to publish research as this would help in improving the university in world ranking.
Reviewing the current graduate programs, the Vice-Rector pointed out that all new programs should meet the demands of job market.
All colleges should encourage faculty members and students to visit libraries and avail themselves of the services provided them, added Al-Shaya’a.
At the end of the meeting, the Vice-Rector extended his thanks to MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren for supporting all the activities and scientific initiatives held by the Vice-Rector’s Office.
