BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE CENTER E-PORTAL LAUNCHED BY MU RECTOR

MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren launched the e-portal of business intelligence center (BIC) in the presence of the Vice-Rector, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shaya’a, the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, the Dean of IT, Dr. Mohammed Al-Weneen, the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Al-Mousa and the Director of Relations and Media, Mr. Nasser Al-Yousef.
The BIC is designed to collect, store and turn data into useful information.
The director of BIC, Mr. Mohammed Al-Aolah explained in details how the BIC e-portal was developed and its features.
The primary function of the BIC is to organize data in a useful way, analyze and validate them and present that data as meaningful information as in indicators and analytical report that help in decision making.
Prof. Al-Dosari pointed out that this system is in-house and helps in achieving the university’s strategic plans, particularly the first strategic goal related to the role of governance in making decision based on information and indicators.
MU Rector commended the concerted efforts exerted to develop the system which would help in achieving the kingdom’s vision.
