COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING HOLDS THE DAY OF ENGINEERING

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Rector, Dr. Khalid S. Al-Mugren and the presence of His Vices as well as a number of deans of colleges and deanships and directors of administrations, the Day of Engineering was held on the auditorium of the main campus. The ceremony started with a recitation of the holy quran followed by a speech for the dean of engineering college, Dr. Fahad M. Al-Salamah where he talked about the importance of scientific research. he stated that the number of research carried out in this year has reached 70 which is 37% higher than last year. Dr. Al-Salamah also made a reference to the achievements made by the college including the formation of the consultant board, conducting training courses and registering 3 new inventions. He finally extended his thanks to the Rector for his constant support and encouragement. His Excellency the Secretary of Saudi Council for Engineers, Dr. Ghazi S. Al-Abbasi gave a speech where he talked about the role and objectives of the council.

Addressing the audience, the Rector, Dr. Al-Mugren delivered a speech where he encouraged the college to maintain the same route and to develop the skills of students. He also extended his thanks to the college for this event. Eventually, the Rector launched the attached exhibition and listened to a full account of explanation by students about the inventions of the college.
