A convention of cooperation was signed within the premises of Majmaah University on Sunday 16/01/1433H between the University and Public Security. The convention was signed from the university side by His Excellency the University Rector, Dr. Khalid Bin Saad Al Moqren, and from the side of Public Security by His Excellency Major General Saad Bin Abdullah Al Khlaiwi, the Assistant Director of Public Security for Training Affairs. The signing ceremony started by a speech for the Vice Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education, Dr. Hamad Bin Abdullah Al Qumaizi who gave thanks to His Excellency Major General Saad Al Khlaiwi for his presence, the accompanying delegation, and to the security leaders working in the public security in the governorates that located within the scope of the university services. A visual presentation was presented about Majmaah University training capabilities, the importance of the Convention that comes within the framework of the university provided expertise and training services through offering training programs to improve the performance of workers in the public security. He also conveyed his thanks to His Excellency the University Rector for his continuous follow up and constant care that the university Community Service Deanship become one of the distinctive Deanships among the Saudi universities. Dr. Al Qumaizi also thanked His Excellency the public security Scholarships Director, Colonel Dr Ali Mohaimeed, the Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education Dr Omar Bin Msaed Al Sharioufi, who followed up the beginning of this Convention up till it became actual reality.
Then, the Rector, Dr. Khalid Bin Saad Al Moqren, welcomed the university guests explaining that Majmaah University through the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education opens new horizons and broad cooperation with all government and private sectors, and that it seeks to integration and achieving partnership with all sectors to accomplish one of the most important objectives of the university, which is providing excellent services to the community with a positive impact. He added that the presence of these elite men of the Public Security to the university for signing this convention is an evidence that the university is going on according to the plans and expectations set by the rulers, may God preserve them, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince and Minister of Interior Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, who attach great importance to universities.
Then HE Major General Saad Al Khlaiwi Assistant Director of Public Security talked about the importance of partnership with the university as a leading scientific entity in the Kingdom. Major General Al Khlaiwi thanked all staff of Majmaah University headed by the Rector for the good hosting, and great cooperation of the Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education Dr. Omar Al Sharioufi and its Vice Dean Dr. Hamad Bin Abdullah Al Qumaizi. He also commended on the sincere desire of the Deanship to sign this convention that is in the public interest, and achieves the desire of the Public Security in access to training programs for the rehabilitation of its staff in different areas.
After that the convention was signed which aims to build bridges of cooperation between Majmaah University and Public Security. Accordingly, the university is to provide high-quality training programs through experienced and qualified instructors for Public Security staff.
The signing ceremony was attended by the university Vice Rectors, Deans of Colleges and Deanships and a number of security leaders. At the end, HE Major General Saad Al Khlaiwi Assistant Director of Public Security, his accompanied delegation and the security leaders were honored.
