THE UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATES IN THE 20th MEETING OF THE UNIVERSITIES AND INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN IN THE STATES OF GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL

His Excellency the Rector of the university, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Muqrin, participates in the twentieth meeting of the Committee of Heads and Rectors of universities and institutions of higher education in the states of Gulf Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States during the period from 13 to 15 October 2014, and is hosted by the University of Kuwait in the Regency Hotel, " Maha Hall ". The university is represented in the preparatory meeting of this meeting by his Excellency the Vice Rector of the university, Dr. Musalam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari. This periodic meeting holds under the umbrella of Gulf Cooperation Council, and comes as a continuation of the work of the periodic Commission, where several topics in this meeting are going to be on the table and of interest to the people of the Council Countries of male and female students with respect to higher education. The  preparatory meeting of the Committee of  Vice Rectors is going to be held on Monday, October 13th at nine o'clock in the morning, and will be attended by His Excellency Dr. Musalam bin Mohammed Al Dosari, while the first session of the twentieth meeting of the Committee of Heads and Rectors of universities and institutions of higher education in the states of Gulf Cooperation Council  will be held on Tuesday, October 14th at nine o'clock in the morning. During the events of the meeting, the seventh seminar of Heads and Rectors of universities and institutions of higher education in the states of Gulf Cooperation Council will be held, His Excellency the Rector of the university, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Muqrin, will participate in it  on Wednesday October 15th at 8:30 in the morning, and the seminar will address the following themes first: research funding and incentives for scientific research. Second: scientific research and Graduate Studies. Third: the investment in the outputs of scientific research. Fourth: scientific publishing and databases. Hence, the participation of Majmaah university in this meeting represents an emphasis on its constant interaction with every academic mobility and educational activity, and a continuation of previous participations on the local and regional level, and the contribution honourably to represent the country and strengthen its position, and to look at the latest developments at the level of higher education, and the concomitant evolution in all educational and technical areas as well as the administrative organizations.
