Rector inaugurates the female students’ section building at the Faculty of Applied Medical Science after its restoration and development

His Excellency the Rector Dr. Khaled Bin Saad Al Moqren inaugurated the female students’ section building at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, after the completion of its restoration, rehabilitation and development. He was received upon his arrival to the faculty headquarters by the faculty Dean Dr. Nasser Bin Ali Al-Jarallah, the teaching staff members and administrative staff where the University Rector unveiled the curtain off the commemorative plaque on this occasion and then toured the building and checked the laboratories, classrooms, different building facilities and supplied equipment & capabilities.

 

His Excellency then went to the faculty main lobby where the ceremony started by Verses of the Holy Quean , and visual presentation about the faculty march since its foundation and its development phases of its building and then the speech of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences Dean, Dr. Nasser Bin Ali Al-Jarallah, who presented his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Rector on the attention, care and follow-up to the development of the College and recent development in the buildings and gave it the capability and equipment and create a learning environment to suit the requirements of students and their needs. This was appreciated by all the faculty affiliates. After that, the building restoration supervision committee was honored. A number is gifted female students were also honored. Then all honored the breakfast party, which was prepared by faculty female affiliates. His Excellency the Rector Dr. Khaled Bin Saad Al Moqren was accompanied by His Excellency the Vice Rector Dr. Ibraham Al Hugail, Deans of Colleges and Supporting Deanships and Administrative Leaderships at the university. The Inauguration of the Rector for this building comes within the incremental steps being pursued by the University Development and restoration of all its facilities to suit the great work witnessed by the university in all fields and keep pace with the rapid advances and achievements of the goals that seek to gain access to it.

 

In order to improve the services provided to university female students and create a suitable learning environment, the restoration, rehabilitation and development of Applied Medical Sciences (Males) building project was approved and convert it to a section for female students. As the faculty appeared in its new suit Majmaah University value & position after several months of continuous efforts, restoration works, construction of new halls, establishment of laboratories, the requirements of available specialties, changing the main building façade & main gate, building a new perimeter wall, exploitation of all available space to accommodate students need and requirements of educational buildings, where the main entrance were planted and shaded center of the building to be room for the spread of female students.

 

A place was arranged for the buffet and rooms for nursery when needed. The building was provided with air-conditioning system, walls & doors were rehabilitated, emergency exits were made with rehabilitation of electricity and plumbing system; taking into account the entrances for people with special needs, to turn the building to an educational institution which offers all elements and needs of the college and commensurate with the aspirations of the university. All faculty buildings were provided with the latest modern technology that raise the quality of performance and qualify faculty for academic accreditation and the achievement of quality standards, making the total edifice of excellence to graduate generations of high scientific, educational and professional level I accordance to the aspirations of the Ministry of Higher Education and the implementation of the directives of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
