In the presence of H.E. Deputy Ministry of Higher Education for Scholarship Affairs, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Mousa, H.E. Rector of Majmaah University, Dr. Khaled Bin Saad Al-Muqrin inaugurated the second phase of the program to attract outstanding included in the program of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Foreign Scholarship sponsored by Majmaah University. The ceremony took place in the main hall of Majmaah University.
The inauguration ceremony started by a speech for HE the Vice Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Mohsen Bin Abdul Rahman Al Mohsen, who thanked the Rector for his presence, care and follow-up. Then, he welcomed His Excellency the Deputy Minister for honoring the ceremony. After that, he gave a brief explanation about the first phase of the "Attracting" program, its included works, committees efforts, the program targeted categories, successes achieved, positive results and countries covered by the program. He also spoke briefly about the second phase of the attraction program.
Then Mr. Mohammed Al Wnain gave a video presentation that included an integrated explanation for the second phase of attraction program and its targeted countries.
After that, the Rector of the University gave a speech welcoming His Excellency the Deputy Minister at the university and gave thanks to His Excellency the Vice Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Mohsen Bin Abdul Rahman Al Mohsen for his provided efforts in the attraction program considering the program one of the achievements that university is proud of. Such program was one of the university priorities since its establishment in addition to preparation of those who were attracted through the program. His Excellency also spoke about the budget allocated for the university this year and investing it for the benefit of the university. After that His Excellency the Rector inaugurated the second phase of the university program to attract outstanding as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques program for foreign Scholarship.
Then came the speech of the Deputy Ministry of Higher Education for Scholarship Affairs Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Mousa and answered the questions from the audience, praised the Majmaah University programs in the field of attraction and the achieved successes in this area and in many other areas. He also mentioned a number of the program objectives which included: (1) working on preparing high level of academic and professional criteria through the scholarships program
(2) Exchange of scientific, educational and cultural expertise with various countries around the world (3) Building qualified and professional Saudi cadres in work environment (4) raise the level of professionalism and professional development of Saudi cadres (5) Delegate Saudi qualified efficiencies to study in the best universities in different countries of the world. His Excellency spoke about the countries of scholarship included in the program and that they are chosen according to the quality of their academic programs. He indicated that the program is permanently reviewing and revising the list of countries. Then he explained the registration methods in the program of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for foreign scholarships and the requirements of the scholarship decision.
During the ceremony, the Rector honored His Excellency the Deputy Minister by a memorial shield. Then he wrote a speech in the Guest Book and honored the lunch party of these occasions. The joints of the ceremony were presented by Mr. Majed Abahussein.
